DWM 1893 Borchardt - Serial Number 1475 While technically not a Luger, this firearm looms large as the predecesor to the Luger, and on which, many of the LugerŐs fine features and qualities we have come to love, were based. It is deserving of the honor of being on our Front Page for this month. This is an outstanding example of this weapon, and is in the collection of Bob Adams of Albuquerque, New Mexico, who kindly allowed us to use it for our Front Page this month. Shown on the Front Page with factory case, four (4) matching magazines, the original dummy magazine (actually a cleaning accessory), the cleaning rod, original shoulder stock with beautiful fiddleback walnut, detachable cheek piece, and a fine holster. Borchardt holster leather usually is found in poor condition, but this one appears very nice. A sling strap is included, but it is different than that usually found. This outstanding pistol is for sale by Mr. Adams for $26,500. If interested, please visit his web site at http://www.adamsguns.com (a link for which appears in our Links & Resources section). Dok
